Buntar Aerospace

Buntar Aerospace is a Ukrainian defense-technology company founded in 2023 that develops unmanned aerial systems (UAS) for reconnaissance at the operational-tactical level. The company's flagship product, the Buntar-3, is a VTOL fixed-wing UAV featuring advanced navigation and control capabilities, strong electronic warfare resistance, and remote piloting via its proprietary Buntar Copilot software platform. Buntar Aerospace raised $10.4 million in a funding round led by US-based Axon Enterprise, with Norwegian investment group participation, in March 2026. The company is co-founded by Bohdan Sas and Kateryna Bezsudna, and is also co-founded in part via the Defence Builder accelerator. Buntar Aerospace's systems have been deployed in active combat operations, including reconnaissance missions by the 414th Separate UAV Brigade.
