Bump Technologies was a Mountain View, California-based mobile startup founded in 2008 by David Lieb, Jake Mintz, and Andy Huibers through Y Combinator (Summer 2009 batch). The company built the Bump app — one of the earliest hit mobile apps — allowing users to physically tap smartphones together to instantly share contact information, photos, and files across iOS and Android. Bump also launched Flock, a photo-sharing app, and an unreleased photo product codenamed Photoroll.
