Brightly is a climate tech company that transforms food waste into high-integrity carbon credits, funding local food rescue organizations across the United States. The platform helps food producers, retailers, and corporates measure, verify, and scale their food waste reduction efforts, generating verified carbon credits and Scope 3 emissions reductions in return. Brightly partners with food banks and rescue nonprofits to divert food from landfills — preventing methane emissions and addressing food insecurity simultaneously. The company raised a $2.3M seed round led by Schreiber Foods in December 2024.
