Breez Security builds a runtime identity threat detection, investigation and response (ITDR) platform covering cloud environments, SaaS applications and identity providers. Founded in 2023 in New York by Abhinav Srivastava, a two-time CISO, the company focuses on securing identities after authentication, the point where most identity tooling stops. The platform tracks every identity to identify compromised credentials, detect potential insider threats, protect against spear phishing and token compromise, provide visibility into brute force attacks, and revoke unused privileges based on actual usage data. Breez was backed through South Park Commons and was acquired by identity and access management vendor JumpCloud in late 2025, with the team joining JumpCloud to continue its identity security work.
