Brain Contents (브레인콘텐츠) is a South Korean holding company founded in September 1998 and listed on the KOSDAQ stock exchange. Headquartered in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, the company operates a diversified group of businesses including a digital contents platform (webtoon and webnovel services), cosmetics (natural cosmetics brand Swanicoco, acquired in 2018), tax refund services (GlobalTaxFree, a KOSDAQ-listed subsidiary operating tourist tax refund services across South Korea, Singapore, Japan, the UK, and France with over 12,000 member stores), lottery information services (Lotto Pia), and IT solutions (Netcruz, providing IT management services to public institutions and financial firms). The group reported consolidated revenues of approximately 81.9 billion KRW in fiscal year 2018. Brain Contents has undergone multiple name changes since its founding — originally established as Hi Industry in 1998, renamed HiCell in 2002, and rebranded as Brain Contents in 2016 following a merger with Rich Communications.
