Bower (operated by Sugi Group AB, co-founded by Berfin Mert and Suwar Mert) is a Stockholm-based recycling-rewards company whose vision is to build a world free from trash by giving everything a value. It has developed an AI-powered mobile app that rewards users worldwide for correctly scanning and sorting their packaging waste, letting consumers turn recycling into cash, coupons, or charity donations while tracking their CO2 savings. Bower also partners with brands and retailers -- including e-commerce sellers -- to reward shoppers for recycling shipping and product packaging, cutting cart abandonment and building loyalty while helping brands meet extended producer responsibility and PPWR packaging-recycling requirements. The app has been used by over 650,000 consumers to sort more than 180 million packages.
