BoolSi

BoolSi compiles hotspot functions written in C, C++, or Rust into custom hardware accelerators for FPGAs, without requiring HDL knowledge or a dedicated chip-design team. The platform also automates deployment, mapping API calls to the function signature, updating the board support package, and producing the hardware bitstream, and every generated accelerator is functionally and formally verified against the original source before it runs. BoolSi is a Boston-based startup targeting embedded and robotics applications where the hotspot previously bottlenecked the CPU, delivering 10-100x speedups by moving that logic into purpose-built silicon. The company is backed by a $6M seed round from Fine Structure Ventures (an F-Prime fund), Pillar VC, Fifth Quarter Ventures, and Coalition Ventures.
