BlueKai was a cloud-based big data platform and Data Management Platform (DMP) that enabled companies to personalize online, offline, and mobile marketing campaigns using third-party audience data. The platform allowed marketers to build, manage, and activate audience data across advertising channels for more precise targeting and personalization. BlueKai also operated a large data marketplace where publishers and data owners could monetize their audience data. The company was acquired by Oracle in February 2014 for approximately $400 million and was subsequently integrated into the Oracle Marketing Cloud as the Oracle BlueKai Data Management Platform.
