Blue Cubed LLC develops optical and RF communication solutions for small satellites. The company's flagship product, Cobalt, is a gigabit-class optical intersatellite link (OISL) terminal that brings laser communications to small satellites with industry-leading size, weight, and power (SWaP) characteristics. They also produce Bluefin, an X-band RF transmitter for CubeSat applications supporting data rates up to 25 Mbps. Blue Cubed is working to solve the broadband satellite inter-connectivity problem for the growing small satellite market and has received multiple SBIR awards from the Department of Defense.
