Bio-Square

Bio-Square (바이오스퀘어) is a South Korean healthcare platform company that develops in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) medical devices based on a proprietary QuantumPACK™ technology — a fusion of semiconductor quantum dot (QD) materials, biotechnology, information technology, and nanotechnology. Its QuantumPACK™ platform enables point-of-care testing (POCT) immunochemical diagnostics with high sensitivity and multiplexing capability, applicable to lateral flow assay, magnetic-particle-based fluorescence immunoassay, and bioimaging. The company was the first in the world to commercialize QD-based diagnostic technology with regulatory approval (Korean MFDS and CE Listing). Its product line includes QuantumPACK™ Easy (rapid antigen tests for Strep A, RSV, Influenza A+B, COVID-19), QuantumPACK™ Pro, NanoPACK™ (COVID-19 antigen home and professional tests), and QDITS™ diagnostic reader systems. Bio-Square also offers an open platform system (OPS) enabling developers to design custom assays using its nanomaterial and reagent infrastructure.
