Believer (The Believer Company) is a global game development studio founded in 2023 by former Riot Games executives including Michael Chow. The company is dedicated to creating next-generation open-world games with players at the center, drawing on the founders' experience shipping games such as League of Legends, Words With Friends, Destiny, and Plants vs. Zombies. Believer launched with $55 million in Series A funding from Lightspeed Venture Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, BITKRAFT Ventures, and Riot Games. The studio is headquartered in Los Angeles, California with developers distributed globally.
