Azalea Vision

Azalea Vision is a Belgian medical device startup and spin-off from imec and Ghent University, founded in 2021, developing the world's first medical-grade smart contact lens platform. The company's active light management lens technology is designed for patients with presbyopia, iris disorders, and light sensitivity, enabling a connected vision platform that can sense, adapt, and treat ocular conditions. Azalea Vision has raised 9 million EUR in the first closing of its Series A round to advance its intelligent connected vision system toward clinical validation and commercialization.
