Axera / Aixin (爱芯元智)

Axera Semiconductor (爱芯元智), formerly Shanghai Zhiaixin Semiconductor Technology, is a Chinese fabless semiconductor company founded in 2019 by Qiu Xiaoxi, specializing in high-performance AI inference SoCs for edge computing applications. The company's platforms power smart cities, smart transportation, smart manufacturing, and smart homes, and it became the world's largest provider of mid-to-high-end visual on-device AI inference chips by shipment volume in 2024. Axera completed an IPO on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in February 2026, raising approximately HK$2.96 billion (~$379 million).
