Aveillant

Aveillant was a Cambridge, UK-based technology company founded in 2011 that developed innovative 3D Holographic Radar systems for surveillance applications. Its radar technology was designed to address the clutter caused by wind farms on conventional air traffic control radar, enabling accurate detection of aircraft near windfarms and airports. Aveillant's systems were also applied to drone detection at international airports to prevent unmanned aerial vehicles from entering flight paths. The company served aviation, defense, and air traffic management markets. In November 2017, Aveillant was acquired by Thales, the French defense and technology conglomerate, to bolster its radar and surveillance capabilities.
