Aspisafe

Aspisafe Solutions is a medical device startup developing novel feeding tube securement and delivery products for hospital patients. Its flagship NG Guard prevents patients from inadvertently dislodging nasogastric tubes — a problem that affects roughly 40% of tube patients and drives malnutrition, added nursing burden, and higher hospital costs. The company also makes the OG Lock, the first orogastric tube securement device for intubated ICU patients, and the NG Plus, a feeding tube with dynamic balloon technology to prevent stomach reflux and aspiration pneumonia. An additional product, SAMMY, uses indirect calorimetry to personalize minute-by-minute caloric delivery for malnourished ICU patients. Aspisafe has participated in the Regional One Health Center for Innovation Access Incubator.
