Argon Networks was a manufacturer of high-performance networking equipment providing wire-speed IP routing and ATM switching products for service providers. The company developed SONET-based Internet core switch/routers targeting the scalability and performance demands of service provider networks. It was co-founded in 1997 and later acquired by Siemens.
