Argo Space

Argo Space Corp is a Manhattan Beach, California-based aerospace startup founded in 2022 that is designing, building, and operating reusable in-space transport and mobility vehicles powered by water-based propulsion. The company's flagship vehicle, the Argonaut, uses low-cost LEO launches combined with on-orbit water propellant refueling sourced from lunar ice to provide affordable delivery to any orbit — from LEO to GEO, cislunar space, and beyond — serving commercial, civil, and defense customers. By decoupling in-space transport from Earth launch, Argo aims to create multi-modal space logistics infrastructure that enables permanent human presence and an industrial space economy, and has received NASA Phase I contract awards and over $3.8M in federal contracts to advance its technology.
