Analog Inference

Analog Inference (now rebranded as Sagence AI) is a semiconductor company pioneering analog in-memory computing for AI inference at the edge and data center scale. Unlike digital GPU-based inference, Analog Inference's chips perform multiply-accumulate operations directly in non-volatile multi-level memory cells, eliminating the need for power-hungry SRAM and DRAM data movement and delivering up to 100 TOPS/W — roughly 100x the power efficiency of comparable digital architectures. The company's chiplet-based architecture targets applications including smart retail, security and surveillance, smart cities, factory automation, and IoT sensor fusion. Founded by Vishal Sarin — a veteran of Micron with over 100 patents in in-memory compute — and backed by Khosla Ventures and TDK Ventures, Analog Inference has raised $32.9M and has taped out its AI SoC processor.
