Aluma Power

AlumaPower Corporation is a Canadian-based cleantech startup founded in 2017 that has developed a galvanic generator technology using solid aluminum fuel discs to produce clean, grid-independent power. The company's modular platform scales from kilowatts to gigawatts, delivering safe, zero-emission energy with 2.5x the energy density of gas or diesel. AlumaPower's systems are designed for critical infrastructure, forward-deployed military operations, marine propulsion, and data centers. The aluminum fuel requires only water to operate, features hotswap capability for continuous generation, and leverages aluminum's status as the most abundant metal on earth. The company operates a 17,500 sq. ft. R&D facility in Sarnia, Ontario (on Aamjinwaang First Nation land) and an engineering facility in Kitchener, Ontario. AlumaPower has completed multiple government-funded pilots through Canada's IDEaS program and received 3rd-party validation from DNV Labs.
