Alsemy is an AI-powered semiconductor technology company founded in 2019 as a spin-off from SK Hynix's in-house venture program HiGarage. The company develops AI-based modeling, simulation, and EDA solutions for semiconductor device and process engineering. Its core products include Alsis (neural network-based compact device models for circuit simulation), Alsphere (AI-driven semiconductor process optimization and recipe reverse-finding), and Alscope (AI-accelerated DTCO simulation for design-manufacturing collaboration). Alsemy uses physics-informed AI and Large Physics Models to ensure semiconductor device physics compliance, and AutoML algorithms to enable non-AI experts to leverage machine learning for chip design and optimization. Headquartered in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea, the company raised seed funding of $0.8M in 2020 and Series A of $5M in 2021, and was nominated as a Korean Baby Unicorn Company in 2023.
