Alameda Healthcare is Egypt's leading private healthcare group, established in 1999 by Professor Salah Khater (FRCS) and currently owned and headed by Dr. Fahad Salah Khater. The network comprises four tertiary care hospitals in Cairo (including Dar Al Fouad Hospital and As-Salam International Hospitals), outpatient clinics, diagnostic centers, specialist centers, pharmacies, and a rehabilitation center, with a planned capacity of 890 beds once all facilities are fully commissioned. Alameda Healthcare also operates facilities in Kuwait and London. The group is committed to clinical excellence across oncology, cardiology, liver transplantation, and pediatric surgery, and has partnered with Siemens Healthineers for advanced radiation oncology technology and signed an MOU with Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust for bilateral healthcare collaboration. In 2025, Development Partners International (DPI) invested $190 million into Alameda Healthcare in the largest-ever healthcare investment in Egypt.
