AirMap is an airspace management platform that provides the foundational technology for safe, scalable drone operations. The company builds air navigation and unmanned traffic management (UTM) systems used by drone pilots, operators, manufacturers, and air navigation service providers worldwide. AirMap's platform enables real-time airspace awareness, digital flight authorization, geofencing, remote identification, and connectivity with air traffic control networks. Founded in 2014 in Santa Monica, AirMap partnered with NASA on UTM research and was used by DJI and other major drone manufacturers before being acquired by DroneUp.
