Agile Focus Designs LLC is a Bozeman, Montana-based optical technology company with over 25 years of expertise in optical micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) and miniature imaging design. The company develops electronically-controlled focus and zoom systems that eliminate moving parts in microscopes, enabling 100x faster focusing and zoom than conventional technology. Its flagship product line, PoweRave®, delivers electronic control of true optical zoom and focus for wide-field and multiphoton microscopes used in life sciences, industrial inspection, and quality control. NSF SBIR funding supports its development of 3D high-resolution imaging technology using MEMS mirrors and novel optomechanical designs.
