Afriavo Orchards

Afriavo Orchards Limited is a pioneering Kenyan agribusiness company specializing in the growing, processing, and global export of premium Kenyan-origin fruits, with Hass avocados as its flagship product. Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Nairobi, the company operates from its Infinity Industrial Park facility on the Eastern Bypass. Afriavo works directly with smallholder and commercial farmers across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Burundi to maintain a year-round supply of avocados through a unique 52-week sourcing program. Its product lines include fresh-packed avocados, frozen avocado products (IQF), freeze-dried fruits and powders, frozen vegetables, and avocado puree for the HoReCa sector. The company holds certifications including GlobalGAP, GRASP, SMETA, and is pursuing BRCGS and EU Organic certifications. Afriavo also provides processing and packaging services for other exporters, and received approval from Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (Kephis) to export frozen avocados.
