Adroit Materials develops and deploys III-nitride technology based on high-quality native AlN and GaN substrates as well as sapphire. The company provides state-of-the-art crystal quality and client-specific material properties through control of alloy composition and doping, covering epitaxial growth, doping, strain management, and contact control for electronic and optoelectronic devices. Customers can access the full AlGaN alloy composition range from AlN to GaN to within ±1% of the desired composition, plus conductive templates with free carrier concentrations suited to a variety of applications. Adroit was spun out of North Carolina State University and is led by President and CTO Zlatko Sitar.
