AdriaKaim Inc. is a Tokyo-based medical device startup, established November 22, 2018, developing the world's first minimally invasive vagus nerve stimulation device aimed at reducing the onset of chronic heart failure following acute myocardial infarction. Working in collaboration with Japan's National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center, the company focuses on planning, research, design, development, manufacturing, and sales of medical and healthcare-related devices, along with consulting and R&D support for medical device and healthcare technology strategy. AdriaKaim is a portfolio company of the University of Tokyo Innovation Platform (UTokyo IPC) and received an investment from SCREEN Holdings in 2023.
