ACSL Ltd. (Autonomous Control Systems Laboratory) is Japan's largest industrial drone manufacturer, publicly listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market. Founded in November 2013 as a spin-out from Chiba University's robotics research laboratory, ACSL develops and provides industrial drones and autonomous control technologies for logistics, infrastructure inspection, disaster prevention, and security applications. The company achieved Japan's first Level 3 beyond-visual-line-of-sight drone flight and received Level 4 Class 1 UAS Type Certificate as the first company in Japan from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. ACSL holds a capital and business alliance with Japan Post and has subsidiaries in the US, India, and Canada. The company's mission is to reconstruct dangerous and labour-intensive tasks with robotics technology to realise a sustainable society where people and robots coexist.
