About
Accept.inc (formerly BoardRE) is a Denver-based fintech mortgage company that gives homebuyers who qualify for a mortgage the ability to submit all-cash offers on homes at no additional cost. Founded in 2016 by Y Combinator alumni Adam Pollack, Nick Friedman, and Ian Perrex, the company pioneered the iLender model, using its own capital to purchase homes outright on behalf of qualified buyers, then converting to a traditional mortgage after closing. This removes the financing contingency from buyer offers, making them more competitive against cash buyers in hot real estate markets. The company raised $97 million in total funding before being acquired by HomeLight in June 2022.
