Abler Nordic is a Nordic impact investment fund manager established in 2008 in Oslo, Norway, as a public-private partnership between the Norwegian and Danish governments and leading Nordic institutional investors. The firm invests in financial institutions across Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia that provide low-income households and small businesses with microfinance, affordable housing loans, agri-tech solutions, and digital banking services. Abler Nordic has raised over $470 million USD across its fund series, empowering close to 14 million people with access to financial services. Fund V, launched in 2025, secured close to $100 million USD from institutional partners including DNB, Ferd, IFU, KLP, and Norfund. The firm is registered with the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway as an Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM) and maintains offices in Oslo, Copenhagen, Jakarta, Delhi, and Nairobi.
