Abler Nordic is an impact-focused investment fund manager established in 2008 in Oslo, Norway as a public-private partnership between Norwegian institutional investors and the public sector. The organization invests in financial institutions in developing countries — primarily across Sub-Saharan Africa and South and Southeast Asia — that provide low-income households and small businesses with access to credit, savings, insurance, and other financial services. Since inception, Abler Nordic has supported over 16.6 million customers with 89% being women and 75% living in rural areas, managing approximately USD 470 million in total aggregated commitments across six funds.
